FAQs
Children aged 0-2 are free of charge (however you still need to book a ticket)
Although it is not always necessary to book in advance, we very much advise that you do so. We cannot guarantee any tickets if they are not booked and paid for. If you are planning on arriving to buy tickets on the door, we suggest you arrive at the venue nice and early. CASH only payments on the door.
Seats are not allocated, as we allow space for children to sit on the floor at the front of the venue, should they wish to do so. Seats will be available for those who wish to use them.
Up to 24 hours before the screening you exchange your ticket for another Easter film screening.
Tickets are non-refundable due to The Hall being booked for the screening. If the screening is cancelled by the organiser, due to unforeseen circumstances and another date is not available, a full refund will be given.
For the films in The Hall, there are no adverts or trailers.
In order to allow our customers to make an informed viewing decision we adhere to the guilds lines provided by the British Board of Film Classification.
- U – is the symbol used for all films Universal. Films classified as U are suitable for anyone over the age of 4 years.
- PG – is the symbol used for all films where Parental Guidance is required. This means that parents should take into consideration the temperament and age of their own child and decide if the film is suitable. Generally, films classified PG should not cause distress to children over the age of 8 years old.
- 12A – is the symbol used for all films that are not suitable for children under the age of 12 years old. The ‘A’ stands for accompanied, meaning that if a child would like to see a 12A film they must be accompanied by an adult (someone over the age of 18). Adults intending to take a child to a 12A film screening should consider if that film is suitable for them. To do this it is recommended to take advise from the ratings info of the film.
- 15 – is the symbol used for films that are not suitable for anyone under the age of 15 years. No one under the age of 15 years either accompanied or unaccompanied will be permitted to view a film classified as 15.
- 18 – is a symbol used for screenings that are for adults only. Films classified as 18 are not suitable for anyone under the age of 18. No one under the age of 18 years either accompanied or unaccompanied will be permitted to view a film classified as 18.
No child under the age of 16 years is allowed into The Hall unaccompanied.
