The Monday Night Club provides social and recreational activities for adults with learning disabilities and / or autism, helping them to improve their health and well-being, and supporting them to lead more independent lives.

The club was started ten years ago by Laura Gill, then aged 23, from Worcester.

Laura says, “When I left college, I lost all my social life and missed my friends. I was at home every evening, feeling bored and miserable. I started The Monday Night Club so we could get together, make new friends and have some regular fun!”

The Monday Night Club fills in the gaps when there is nothing to do, organising activities in the evenings and at weekends. At the RPW this will include a weekly disco, workshops with Drumlove, film nights, fancy dress parties, karaoke nights, keep fit classes, dance competitions, games nights and live entertainment. Besides the regular Monday activities, there is a MNC football club that trains every week, walking groups, and the MNC Saturday Kitchen, a healthy cooking and lifestyle club.
